Functions

Calypso Café at ABS House Venue can cater for many functions including 18^th, 21^st, 40^th birthday parties as well as christening, engagement, cocktail parties and farewell functions.

We are licensed premises and also allow BYO for special functions. Maximum seating capacity, 80 people. Total capacity 110 people.

Further menu options are available in our Calypso Menu Information Pack, however if we do not have what you require we will endeavour to get it for you (depending on season).

Note: Smoking is not permitted in the outdoor area of the café and complies with act government regulations from december 9th December 2010.

Calypso adheres to the responsible service of Alcohol.

21st Birthday Parties

• Italian bread with dips …homus, beetroot, tsasiki, grilled eggplant & pumpkin
• Spring rolls with soya/sweet and sour sauce

General Price in this range of cocktail style food is $15 - $25 per person

40th & Family Celebrations (i.e. christenings/engagements etc)

• Fresh king prawns
• Anti-pasto platters inc. prosciutto, boccocinni cheese, char-grilled vegetables, olives, marinated vegetables, mortadella, salami
• Oysters natural
• King prawns skewered with f resh lime and sweet chilli sauce
• Roast turkey, beef or pork (all condiments)
• Roast potato and vegetables
• Fresh octopus, garlic and vegetable salads
• Salads including: chicken Caesar, Greek, chicken & mango, mixed bean, pumpkin and chickpea, avocado & pasta to name a few
• Pasta carbonara
• Tortellini in red sauce

Again, there are many other options available depending on the occasion General Price in this bracket ranges from $25 - $55 per person
